P6C Final Buddy Time

Primary 6 welcomed their primary 3 buddies into the classroom this afternoon, for their last Buddy time. They helped their buddies research different animals and the got to play with them afterwards. Primary 6 have loved having buddies and have learnt a lot from this experience.

Refugee Awareness

Primary 6 had a ‘thought-provoking’ visit from the British Red Cross on Tuesday, learning about refugees. Primary 6 thought about what it would be like as a refugee.

Learning to Classify Angles

This week we have been learning about angles in 2D shape. In this lesson P6C used their knowledge of classifying angles by labelling the angles of the shape on their desk. They then used protractors to measure these angles. They all were very successful and enjoyed being allowed to write on the desks.

Children’s Parliament Visit P6C

Pupils in Primary 6C had a wonderful experience working with staff from the Children’s Parliament. The children will be interviewing candidates for two of their the positions on Monday and Tuesday. Today we thought about what skills staff members would need and we learnt what interview skills you need.
