Fun in the sun ☀️

This term in class we are reading Wonder, which is a story that we use to discuss themes such as kindness, friendship and inclusion. It also fits very well with our school values: respect, inclusion, teamwork and effort.

Today, at the children’s suggestion, P6A spent some time in the meadows where we focused on inclusion and playing together. It was lovely to hear the children inviting one another to play and encouraging each other in their games.

What a fab start to P6. Well done, kiddies.

P6 Bikeability

Just a little reminder to children and families that P6 Bikeability starts on Monday for P6A, Tuesday for P6B and Wednesday for P6C. The first session focuses on safety, bike checks, starting, stopping and signalling. The morning session will be spent in the playground building confidence before heading out on to quiet local streets. Please ensure that children are all appropriately dressed for the weather and that they come to school on their cycling day with a working bike, helmet and bike lock. We do have a limited number of bikes that we can lend out if needed.

Thank you for your support.
